Delete your account

Maha MangalGath

You can delete your Maha MangalGath account and its data yourself, from inside the app. You do not need to ask us, and you do not need a reason.

In the app — the fastest way

  1. Open Maha MangalGath and sign in.
  2. Tap Profile at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Scroll to Delete My Profile.
  4. Confirm. Your profile leaves search and the app immediately.

If you cannot open the app

Write to us from the email address on your account, or tell us the registered mobile number and your profile ID (it looks like M20001 or F20001). We verify that the request is yours before deleting anything, and we complete it within 7 days.

What is deleted, and what is kept

Your profile and every field in it · your photographs · your contact number and email · your shortlists, interests and blocks · your notification tokens · your sign-in account Payment and tax records (order id, amount, date) for up to 8 years, because Indian tax law requires it · records of reports made against the account, so a removed member cannot simply return · aggregate counts that carry no personal data · copies in our backups, until they expire — at the latest 90 days after deletion

Deletion is permanent. A deleted profile cannot be restored, and any unused contact balance is lost with it — so if you have contacts left, use them before you delete.

Just want a break?

You do not have to delete the account to stop hearing from the service. Signing out stops notifications on that device, and you can hide from a particular member by blocking them from their profile page.
